The primary source of my final paper is “A Message to the Grassroots”, a speech by Malcom X which critiques the Big Six and their participation in the March on Washington. These pictures are from the 1963 March on Washington that Malcolm does not approve of. The march utilized white allies, which are pictured, and this is something that Malcolm spoke negatively of in his speech.
